So much going on this coming weekend!

First we have the Atlanta crew, with a fun filled weekend! No Brakes is having their 2nd Anniversary Race & Party on Friday, July 10.
On Saturday there's a pro velo race at the Dick Lane Velodrome, should be awesome to watch. Then on Sunday there's another velo race, this time for messengers and city bikers, with Cyclehawk's velocity. Winners get a free trip to Tokyo!

Pensacola Alley in Pensacola, Fl is also having a fun filled weekend, with their Blue Angels Alleycat. Looks like a whole lotta good times, and the beach too!
Finally, here in Birmingham we have a couple of things that you really should attend. If you haven't heard yet, our dear beloved Bottletree Cafe is in a financial pickle, and needs YOUR sweet lovin' to help them out! Saturday night they are having a free show to help business, so get yo booty over there and buy some drinks! Yours truly will be there rocking out (or something similar) with Andy's Tea Party.
Sunday night is the first of many events with The Sunday Night Skid! Every other Sunday our dear pals Matthew and John are going to be running the show with sprints and bike games. They are also doing some sort of point system, but you'll have to go to their site to get info on that.
Leave a comment if you'll be attending any of these events, or if you're looking to carpool!

No Brakes - a bunch of stupid and over ego white people who take pride in the fact that their bike riding skills are sub par. Being proud of riding sans brakes is like being proud of dunking on a 7 foot net, or hitting a 30mph fast ball, or getting a hole in one in miniature golf - it's not that hard, but it is, in fact, stupid.

Go do BMX, Trials riding or ride a unicycle - all of which I am sure none of you can do because it's hard. But first, look in the mirror and know that your importance is only important to you. You people are idiots.

Mr. Monkey,
While I appreciate your concern for our intelligence, I felt that maybe I should let you know that the Bici Bicycle Cooperative is a community run bicycle shop that encourages and promotes the cycling community in Birmingham, as well as provide access to tools, used parts, and expertise for a modest cost to those who need it. Why you feel the need to criticize an independently owned track bike shop in Atlanta on a Birmingham based bike cooperative blog is completely beyond me. Bici supports ALL CYCLING. We make it a point to promote different events whether they be cylcocross, mountain biking, road racing, alley cats, etc. If you would like us to link to your extreme unicycling event we would be more than happy.

Thanks,

Alan
